Match upon a Time
Casual, Puzzle, Swipe-to-Match (iOS, Android)
The goal of Match Upon a Time was to create a highly polished match-3 experience inspired by games like Royal Match, featuring a time-traveling narrative where players visit different eras to restore stolen artifacts to famous historical figures. For example, players help Da Vinci recover his art supplies and inventions, or help Cleopatra reclaim her palace statues and décor.
The game also introduced an innovative “time freeze” power, allowing players to manipulate a frozen board for a limited number of turns—adding a fresh layer of strategy to traditional match-3 gameplay.
